3 Week Surface Deco Workshop

Surface Decoration
TuesdayJune 9th - 23th 6-9 pm
 
It will be helpful if you have some previous experience with glazing although not necessary.
 
This workshop will explore a variety of surface decoration techniques. Each participant will be provided 4 leather hard cylinders to practice on.
 
 In the first 2 classes we will explore different techniques one can use on greenware:
Sgraffito
stencilling
mishima / inlay
carving
 
In the third class we will be glazing! We will start with the foundations single dips and setting yourself up for success when glazing but will then explore beyound the single dip:
 
layering glazes
using wax
masking
painting on glazes

Myriad Ceramics is currently a one women operation. Because of this please understand it may take a few days to process and ship your order. I am currently only shipping within Canada. All packages are sent through Canada post and include tracking. If you would like priority shipping please contact me at the time you place your order and I will send you an invoice for the added cost and once paid will send out your order post haste. Please note due to the fragile nature of ceramics, great care is taken in packaging. All packages are double boxed and items are secured in a way that they cannot touch to avoid breakage. Currently to accommodate this, shipping costs are assigned to individual items. If you are purchasing an order with more than one item please use the coupon code “Multiples” at check out for a 12% discount to help offset shipping costs.

Details to Know

All purchases through this site are considered final sale once shipped. You can however choose to cancel your order before it is shipped for a refund.

Items damaged during shipping must be reported to Myriad Ceramics within 48 hours of the delivery date for a refund to be issued.

A photo of the damaged piece, along with the box and packaging with all labels visible is required to be sent to Myriad Ceramics with the report. (Email to myriadceramics@gmail.com)

Refund or exchange of product will be discussed on a case by case basis.
